I have a lot of green treats on my site related to St. Patrick’s Day, such as this leprechaun bait, these mint brownies, or these St. Patrick’s Day treats), but I realized I don’t have any rainbow themed treats! So with that, today I’m bringing you a simple and colorful treat: Fruity Pebble Rice Krispie Treats!


  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 bag (16 ounces) mini marshmallows, separated
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt (if using table salt, use 1/4 teaspoon)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups plain rice krispie cereal (Note 1)
  • 4 cups Fruity Pebbles


  1. Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper with an overhang for easy removal. Spray parchment paper with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Grab your biggest NONSTICK pot and melt the butter over low heat. Once the butter is completely melted, add in ALL BUT 2 and 1/2 cups of the marshmallows. Stir constantly, keeping the heat on low, until the marshmallows are completely melted.
